It was once a heretical science fiction to turn back the biological time of the human race. Today it is science. I’ll explain how and why.

Although in recent decades there has been an increase in longevity, this is not healthy longevity; the most serious pandemic of the 21st century is perhaps sick longevity. However, a new hypothesis is emerging: if the advancement of the life clock is characterized by the progression of the symptoms of an unhealthy life, perhaps it is possible to prevent or minimize the duration of the decline phase and extend the period of healthy longevity. In fact, on 2 December 2020, the prestigious Nature magazine dedicated its cover to a concept that until a few years ago would have been considered a hypothesis of heretical science fiction: “Turning Back Time” or “turning back time”, putting for for the first time questioning the dogma of the inevitability of aging.
Today this is no longer a science fiction concept. International laboratories are increasingly focused on these issues, because prolonging healthy survival is not only desirable, but also represents the moral goal that any modern and responsible society should set itself, not only to avoid suffering that can be prevented, but also because every year added to healthy survival, it would save $ 38 trillion in health care spending. I am convinced that we will have an extensive list of alternative, critically important investments that will allow us to redirect these savings of tens of trillions, which now exclusively feed the financial empire of sick longevity, the industry that treats humanity. ‘only when he gets sick, when patients arrive at the hospital, instead of preventing acceptance, the industry of plasters on wounds that never heal. Imagine how much we could achieve, Prolonging Healthy Longevity and with the enormous savings that would result … from fighting global warming, to developing sustainable agriculture, and the sustainability of the entire planet we live on. We could support industries that promote courageous and innovative wellness, fitness, and food industries, aligned with the principles of Healthy Longevity. We could thus also combat food waste and hunger in the world, promote the development of developing countries, and support innocent refugees from wars and genocides which unfortunately continue to inflict misery and suffering even today. Imagine how all this can be achieved with the savings produced by an increase in Healthy Longevity.
